  5. Mark, just a thought but is an every Friday schedule wise, speaking personally I tend to buy bottles for during the week as I'd be actually in the pub on Fri - Sun usually?

I think the idea is great either way and will read with interest via twitter & the blog even if I cant drink in real time.

    Cheers Phil

  6. GDB: Nice work!

Beersay: There's no need to drink in real time. The post will go up on a Friday and will be "fresh" until the following Friday when we move onto the next beer. It's a good call on the choice of day - my thinking was that a lot of people open bottles of beer over the weekend rather than during the week. We'll have to see how it plays out, we can always change it if it makes sense to do so. :)

  7. Joining (this year's) 52-week club party a bit late (my other half was late putting the order in:-)
Glad to see there's no ubiqutous Jaipur in the case (as pictured on MBT websit) but that was in last year at some point I seem to remember.

Looking foward to :- anything that isn't IPA or porter or stout (althoug love the latter); its just that these styles have been done to death recently (blame Thornbridge and Brewdog).

So here's to bitters, milds, ambers et al!Cheers! (finishing off some crappy Brakspere Supermarket Tripel tonight; its prettt std supermarket berr-swill really).

    Cheers agaain!
PS. Anybody tried Cumbrian Legendary Ales Grasmoor Dark Ale in a bottle? Its FANTASTIC on draught.

  8. Hmmm - the Summer case isn't going too well. Perhaps my tasetbuds are shot after a cold a couple of weeks ago?

Things can only get better (as they say).
PS. just had a very nice Pale Ale from Camden Town Brewery.
So not all pale/golden sub-5% beers are dull!
